Steampunk for men

Steampunk for men is an 8x8 card from craftsUprint. I printed it twice to decoupage for extra dimension, this photo doesn't do it justice though! Lovely card for men x

Anniversary card

Anniversary card made from Hunkydory adorable scorables. This image can also be used for weddings, it is called 'The first dance'. I used black for the main card and  embossed gold mirri for a different look , the bow was made using 'Bowdabra' mini bow maker, I love it!

New Baby Girl

These 2 card front sheets were purchased from craftsUprint. I printed on matte paper and glued to front of card and cut around the wording 'BOY and GIRL' this was then decoupaged along with crib, baby and stork.

Fairy Doodles

The topper was from another range Hunkydory brought out a while back now but, still very popular for me! It is the Fairy Doodles toppers, each fairy is individually named. I used the backer from the adorable scorables set. One thing I will add is most of Hunkydory stuff will mix and match with each other...perfect!

Hunkydory Adorable Scorables

This easel card was made using Hunkydory Adorable Scorable toppers and backers. To add dimension I used holographic silver glitter to outline the small hearts in main image. I think it is perfect for little girls! This duo pack definitely value for money, there is something for everyone and every occasion!

Coppernob wallet card

This wallet card I made for a 17 year old. I used coppernob fancy fold pattern for this style, it's not a template but it gives you measurements to score etc. The images were from Carol Ann designs CD, 'Glam & Glitz as I thought they were appropriate for a teenager. Jade's grandparents loved it and so did Jade! Unfortunately I took the photo of the box from my mobile, so image isn't too good!
I heat embossed 'JADE' from a stencil on pink card and used 'cloud' edge scissors around the edge and mounted on lid of box. A pull bow was used to complete the look!

Valentine card

I was asked to do a Valentine card for my friends wife, this is what I came up with! I used the new Hunkydory Adorable scorable toppers and backers. I used ice gold card for main body. Rose bouquet backer was matted on rainbow swirl mirri card and mounted on main body. The topper was a heart shaped rose bouquet and mounted on rainbow swirl mirri card, I added pink AB gems to frame the heart shaped topper and positioned on a tilt. The alpha overlay I used on another backer from Hunkydory set and glittered around the edge. I added a strip of rainbow swirl mirri and positioned 'love' sentiment and used Safmat for personal greeting.

Baby rocker

Another template I love to make-the baby rocker! This was cut from 350gsm Ice gold card and fine gold peel offs used to trim the edges. I made the padded seat cover from broderie anglaise to complete the look!

Victorian Pram

This is one of my master pieces! The Victorian Pram body & hood was cut from Ice gold card 350gsm, the wheels are cut from 350gsm mirri board and I used fine peel-offs to trim wheels and the hood. I added lace around front of the hood which is adjustable and the parasol was made from patterned vellum. The Template was from cameo crafts who I used to design & demonstrate for on create and craft before they finished the company.

Little Prince rocker card set

Another Aimee Asher kit for both boy & girl and are a very popular request for me to make. The bed style gift box I line with tissue and add a pair of baby sox-a perfect little gift for a new born!

New baby boy

A freebie for you!

I made this label style template to make a label style easel card. You are welcome to use it, but please leave a link back to my blog thank you x

The Groom

From the same CD as the bride, her is the Groom. I adored making this and putting that little extra touch-his pink silk cravat with a crystal gem. The black shiny peel-offs on the edge of his collar finishes it off!

The Bride

I love working with 3d templates! This was one of the templates off  'To have and to hold' CD by cameo crafts who I used to demonstrate for on create & craft. It's main body is made from card, to which I dressed in lace and pearls, I also made the bible (from dies) and bouquet.

Lilac deco lady

The image was decoupaged and glued tiny teardrop gems to her head-wear and matted on deckled edge midnight glitter card. The front of the card I cut out sections and put acetate behind them. I then used 2 contrasting backers to hide the glue on the inside of acete, then edge in coloured peel-offs

Monochrome beauty!

I just love this image. I distressed the edges of main image and matted it on vellum with brads for a different look. Backer was from a scrap-booking kit I bought. Finished the look with a white feather held with a black velvet bow and gem brad.

Marx brothers

My brother loves the Marx brothers so I thought this would be the perfect card for his birthday! What do you think?

Civil Ceremony

When you look in card shops there isn't much choice for civil ceremonies. I got asked to make this for a friend and she was 'over the moon' so to speak with the results and, the happy couple loved it too!
This was a 5x5 card that I used to make an 8x8 card! I think it is so elegant and can be used for several occasions, such clean, rich colours!

The Paper Shelter

I just love this site-The Paper Shelter! The beauty of the digi image downloads is; you get a stamped and a coloured image, so if you haven't time to colour use the pre coloured image, they also sell paper packs to compliment the images. This card I made for a friend, I distressed the edges of the matting using an electric nail groomer and used Tim Holtz distressing ink in 'Vintage Photo'.
